Rabbit Bones

Are rabbit bones safe to grind, or do they cause sharp splinters, which could be dangerous?

I often find rabbit teeth in my cats bowls after they have eaten rabbit although never an issue with bones. Not real keen about grinding whole rabbit myself as my mind has been corrupted by tales of the Easter Bunny, Bugs Bunny and Peter Cotton Tail. I'll leave that evil bidding to Hare-today.com.

By the way CC, what made you come up with the whole rabbit as food for yur babies? Got a lot of them running around out there in AZ?

I tried feeding baby rabbits to the cats...once...and couldn't do it anymore. I stood there cuddling their little bodies and crying like an idiot. Couldn't stop stroking those little bunny ears & feeties. If my guys want wascally wabbit, they have to eat it ground.
