Glad to hear the therapy is going well

We have started weaning Rafiki off of the prednisone. She is now taking a 5 mg does every other day for 2 weeks. She continues to be majorly hungry. I am now feeding her 1-1/2 oz of additional meat per day and she still cleans Jammu's bowl and does "I want" to the center island (where treats are stored) every hour. This week is beef week (something she is not crazy about) and she is devouring it the way she normally eats quail. Jammu will remain on his meds for 10 days after Rafiki is done so we will do the follow up blood work when he is done.

I hope Rafiki 's next blood test comes back good and I am sure the other people on this forum do to.

I have the feeling that the blood test will come out good based on her appetite and activity level. The bigger question is whether or not it will last.

Nothing like steroids to increase the appetite! So much better than watching her fade away from lack of appetite and struggling to get a few bites of anything down her! Fingers crossed that everyone's labs come back perfect!!
