Red bump on kitten forehead

Zoe last week had a bump appear on the left side of her head between her eye socket and ear which looked like a zit but had more of an open sore look than just a red bump. We had thought she ran into something with her head and didn't think much of it. That bump went away now she has one on the other side of her head about the same size as the other one with the same red sore look, and now there are smaller ones forming back on the left side where it had previously disappeared.

Any idea what these are before I take her to a vet?

Could be an allergy. Have you changed anything since you have noticed?

Nothing that I'm aware of off. Her food has been consistent since we brought her home.

Have you checked her ears for brown crusty or waxing look stuff? Does her food contain grain? Is her litter scented? Have you checked for fleas?

You should take her in for a vet consult. If it's allergies, then narrowing down and eliminating the cause is trial and error and requires a lot of patience.

This does not sound like an allergic reaction to me, it is too localized and isolated from your description. Can you take a pic and post it so we can see what you are looking at? I do agree that since these 'spots' keep popping up you should have her evaluated by your vet.
