Savannah kitten anatomy

Hi there I just got my f4 sbt kitten and I had a couple of questions. She is only 10 weeks old which is kinda young but when I grab her and pet her I can feel all of the bones along her spine, is that normal?
Any help or random information would be great also!

If she's a lean build then it might be perfectly normal... have you taken her to your vet for an initial vet check to make sure all is well?

We have a vet trip scheduled for next week but we just got her yesterday and I was just curious because I just didn't think I could wait until next week to know if something is wrong with my baby lol.

As long as she seems to have good appetite and energy levels I am sure all is well. Some cats are like people, really lean in body... and in a growth spurt some kittens get very thin too...

If you can see bones like hip and spine knobs-- I'd go I. A lot sooner. If you can just feel it, it's not as worrisome. As b said-- it could be normal anatomy. The other question is-- do you have normal poop in the box?

Worry is okay, much better than ignoring something until the cat is really sick...

Depending how much of a Serval trait comes thru to the Savannah, some of these cats are skinny, thin, long, and quite a bit different in body structure than your run of the mill domestic cat. I am forever worrying about the lean and narrow body shape of Mayhem, but he is very active and healthy. I had too many fat tabbies in the past, and I got the wrong impression cats are normally like that.
