Savannah kitten behavior

Right now, I have Jarvis cuddled on the couch, on my feet, with his front paws on Michael's arm.
He is whining at us because we aren't paying enough attention to him :)

Been a while since I have updated this.
Jarvis is sitting with me while I type this.
He turns 2 on Friday.
The long and short of it is that Jarvis is a happy kitty these days.
He is no longer easily scared, although he is still easily startled by any loud noises.
He has decided that all humans are interesting and are potential sources of food, snuggles, and play. He routinely goes up and says hello to our guests once they have been in the house for a few minutes, and he brings a toy to anyone who looks like they may be willing to play with him (read: all humans).
He is a determined little guy, and it makes me very happy to see him turning his determination to getting new people to socialize with him and play with him.
Happy 2d birthday Jarvis Kitty. We love you.

Time for an update.
On Thursday, we had a house call from our Vet.
This is the first time the vet has done a house call; Jarvis PANICs at the vet and I thought this might be better.
It turned out to be tough while it was going on; Jarvis was very scared. Fast forward, and I do think we had a less frightening experience than the typical vet visit.
The good news: Jarvis recovered pretty quickly. Within two hours, he was snuggling with me again. Within 3, he was playing with us!
I was very, very worried that me brining the vet into the house would result in backsliding for him and more fear. I am very relieved to have been wrong.
We had friends over yesterday and our guy not only didn't hide, he let them pet him. So relieved :)

I'm glad to hear that overall the vet visit went well. It sounds like Jarvis is making some strides in learning to accept and trust new people. Hopefully he will continue to improve with time.

Good to hear Nikkia... Always like hearing positive results... I all too well know what a vet visit can be like.
