IDK about this site...they have a lot of info for being a scammer site...I would reply to an ad and see what happens.

Well looking at it, you see a lot of the same kitten pics for free and sale in different states. To me that just seems shady. This is the site that I came across the scammers. I'm just thinking that the whole site isn't legit. There is no way of contacting an administrator at all.

I checked it out and the domain belongs to a Danish guy in Beverly Hills, LOL!!! I would sign up using a throwaway email address and see where it takes me...I do have an address and phone number for the guy, but it it probably bogus...not sure...I will do some investigating ;-]

I had another "breeder" try to sell me a kitty, and they used the same pictures as the ones i posted here!!! Plus a few more...I sent them a nasty email back telling them to go f***k themselves. I checked the IP on that one, and it was out of Dublin..interesting...

Not yet, Michelle...sorry - I dropped the ball on this one, so thanks for reminding me. Problem is I don't know where the pictures are from, so it's hard then to prove there is a copyright infringement. And that is what needs to be proved to take a site down.

This is very conerning for me, I want to share my pictures here for the enjoyment of fellow members, but I certainly don't want pictures of Zeus (especially how young he is) to be used to dupe people in a scam. What can we do to prevent pictures that we post on this site from being used?

Rob, we are all posting our pictures here...usually the scammers will steal images from breeder websites...no one can download any pictures from here unless they are a member. And I am diligent about checking every person who wants to become a member. I have disapproved and blocked IP addresses from several scammers this week.

You can watermark your images either digitally through digimarc or using photoshop or any other photo editing software. Does this help?
