Sounds like you might want to consider raw food. I've never heard of it not working to firm up stool.

If there aren't any medications in the mix I would try adding a teaspoon of plain yogurt at each feeding. If there is some medication in the mix, I would wait until it's out of the picture to try and resolve things. If this is a single episode, I wouldn't worry too much about it although if the stools don't firm up in the next 24 hours I would keep an eye on dehydration. Also might want to make note of the quantity of food he is eating, and perhaps he is just over eating with his growth cycle beginning to slow down.

Lots of stuff to look at with the progress made, and again I would start with the yogurt to see if that helps.
