Too bad the cat paid the ultimate price for her mistake; I know a lot of farmers who would've paid for that territorial attitude...keeps the rats & coons away....would've been the perfect barn cat! Glad she wants to help, hopefully it will be a monetary donation instead.

Michigan law requires a rabies shot and if this woman took the cat in she SHOULD have got the cat it's shots as Michigan requires but she didn't and in the video she says she is a cat lover with 2 other cats ,her to other 2 other cats should be tested to see if they caught any thing from their owner , We took in a black cat that was living in the woods a few years ago and a few days later he spent the night at the animal hospital and got a blood test, all shots, fixed, dewormed , and we still have him, anyone who takes in a animal also gets the responsibility for their care.

This video was much funnier before I read that story :'( very sad situation. Just like people, every cat has a different personality. Maybe that cat had a short temper, maybe it was bi-polar. Maybe it had been abused previously, nobody really knows why it acted the way it did and we never will. Sad to hear the kitty was put down though. I liked the story so much better when it was just a cat getting it's revenge on a woman kicking snow at it.

Super sad to hear that cat was put down! It was just defending itself when it thought it was being attacked.

I spoke with a cat lady friend yesterday who told me she once took in a stray that lived with her family and 8 other cats (yes, all indoor only) for 3 years until one day he suddenly turned and became hostile. She rehomed him to a good friend thinking he just one day decided that he didn't like the other cats and would be okay being an only cat. It turned out he had a brain tumor and died within the year :(

Again, not condoning the woman's actions in the moment, just saying we weren't there and don't have the full story. She could be evil, the cat could have had a brain tumor or been bipolar, we don't know.

That is a terrible story. I didn't know they killed the cat either..... How awful. Maybe she should have found him a home with no dogs!! It looks like the cat was cornered at the end, it's no wonder he attacked her. I think the whole thing was poorly handled but that's mho....
