Welcome, Tsunamimommy! I'd love to see pics of all your kitties :)
Please post pictures of the Chausie as well...I have heard just the opposite - that the Chausie is a handful...look forward to pics and video...

I will. He's quite the charmer. Actually, now that I think about it, he was quite a handful when he was younger. It just seems Tsunami is even more so, but then Chakra is 8 years old now and mellowed out a lot. Tsunami is just coming on 8 months. I also have two domestics: Akasha is 17 years old and has thyroid problems and Greebo is also 8 years old and only has one working eye. He's the best hunter I've ever had, though. He specializes in ground squirrels.

I will be posting soon. Actually, I can't do it from this tablet, so I'll work on that when I fire up the computer.

What kind of tablet do you have? You can download an app called tapatalk, which several forum users have done and you will be able to post pictures....

Paige, I have Tapatalk on my iPhone, but it doesn't give me a photo-posting option.

I will be posting pics when I figure out how to do it--I'm kind of a computer dummy and it takes me a while to figure things out. Anyway, I'm so pleased to find this site. It's been a dream for years to have a Savannah, and I lucked into one last October. Her name is Tsunami and she is the world's smallest mobile force of mass destruction. Devastation follows in her wake.

Welcome, Tsunamimommy!

I got a chuckle when I read the name - my F2 girl Xumi's middle name is tsunami. I can relate to the destructive force and general mayhem :) I've never seen 5.8 lbs of cat do so much damage so quickly. How can this be when she's only 16 weeks old? There are 2 fully grown adults in this house and we are being outmaneuvered at every step by a kitten. We are thinking of getting our own place.

ROFL. You need one of these. We call it our le cage aux folles. Usually the cats get thrown in when our nerves are frayed but sometimes DH and I take refuge in ittri wink:

Xanax and vodka. :big grin:

I've repeatedly said that my house always looks like it was hit by a tidal wave, followed by a hurricane topped off by a tornado. My vacuum & mop are velcroed to my legs.

Can I has some Xanax puhleez? How come the breeder didn't send some along with my kitten? Shouldn't that be standard practice? I mean, come on, the cat has a health guarantee, but what about me?
