I think a good thorough cleaning of your house and you should be fine. Mainly I think the cleaning/disinfecting is cathartic for the human more than anything. When a cat has FIP they don't shed the mutated virus... so there is no FIP virus waiting in your house. There will possibly be benign Coronavirus but given that almost all cats have been exposed to this, it's not so much of an issue. Definitely soaking the litterboxes in bleach and then sun drying them would be a good idea if you don't simply decide to toss them.

Over in Ragdoll world, a friend who had 4 Ragdolls adopted a 5th baby Ragdoll. Shortly after adoption, the baby died of FIP. Not long after, she adopted two more baby Ragdolls, from a completely different breeder (very trusted knowledgeable breeder). The litter was 7 Ragdolls, all healthy. Very shortly after she adopted the 2 Ragdolls, one of the two babies came down with FIP and passed away. So far the 2nd baby is okay.

I know this is just anecdotal, but it really makes me wonder about the shedding of CV and FIP.
