Spots of Africa - Beware

And that's the other thing, it's like she's patted her hands clean, said she's not breeding, tells me she's broken her leg (We're talking business here, why are you telling me this? Because you've broken your leg I should leave you alone?) and wish she could do more... Its just so silly that because one person can't take responsibility so many lives are being affected in such a negative way.

She just had a litter of F3's, so I think she is still breeding.

Maybe the queen ended up spayed or she sold her too? I only know what she told me and the owner. If she is still breeding then all the better to pay up when the small claims judgement comes in...

So this is the breeder I posted about when looking @ F3s. It's only been a few weeks since I last contacted her and she said she'll have kittens in the near future so she's definitely breeding still (unless that was a lie). She was very dodgy & as soon as I started asking real questions it was "oh that kitten was already bought" suddenly. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I can only imagine the stress & heartache you're experiencing. At least the kitten is safe and being cared for by you, he's better off than with a breeder who is clearly unethical. I wish there was something that could be done about her & others who don't seem to care much for the kittens they raise beyond $$.

There is also a Bad Catteries page on FB...
That is good, I didn't know about that. A good resource for those researching breeders for sure. Reading things like that really get me upset, as I'm sure most of us would agree. So horrible to even think about those poor kitties in those places..
