When Casey caught a bird last summer I tried to rescue it and when I got close he gave me a nasty growl and ran , the enclosure is to big to chase him in , later I found a pile of gray feathers, he must have ate it, that was the only time he growled at me.

Zeddie growls for everything. Food, toys, picking her up...she is just a vocal kitty. You can take it straight out of her mouth no problem, she just wants you to know that she isn't particularly pleased with you

Kilifi growls at me when I pick her up and hold her. Well, after she meows a few dozen times and dad does not listen and refuses to pit her down. Then she growls. ( If you could call it a growl. )

Geez... I didn't know Elsa even knew how to Spit or Growl until her Doctor gave her the 3rd vaccination... I guess she figured enough was enough.... She never growls at home or when I take her out someone where and then Only at the Vet when she knows she getting a shot... If he brings in a syringe, all bets are off and she is growling and spitting, if he does not bring it in, she loves him... Go figure...
