Praying for Loki. It’s unbelievable what they decide to chew on. I’ve been worried about this happening to my F1 Sage. He loves to chew. I found regurgitated stuffing from toys and have to put the favorite toys away. I get my raw food from a wholistic pet store and found some digestible chew options: goats trachea (their favorite) chicken feet, duck head. My dsh’s, f3 and f1 all seem to like having something to crunch on and they last for a few days. If I have a long work day, I’ll give them a few before I leave.

Loki is eating and doing well. He had his first movement today since Monday. He's eaten four 3 ounce cans of wet food today. No dry food is offered ATM which is good because I haven't seen him drink any water.

I'm really not sure how much to feed him, but I've been offering it to him off and on. It's so nice to have him eat without vomiting. When he was weighed before surgery, he was down 3 pounds since his last vet check up.

He's been just sleeping in bed with us. When he gets antsy, I put him down on the floor to walk around. He's murdering a sock right now. Not sure what the sock said, but Loki didn't take it lightly.

I'm concerned about when the pain medication runs out that he will be too active for his healing. The vet said they could offer some sedative, but I have mixed feelings for that as well.

The incision runs the entire length of his belly, it's quite intense. So happy to have him home and eating.

Thank you all for your warm thoughts and prayers. It's very much appreciated.

Glad to hear he is eating and moving about. You will have to play it by ear as far as meds go and see how he does without it.

So glad he is home! I will for sure be checking on pet insurance now!

What in the world was that? A pair of jeans, a blanket? It just kept coming out.

The still frame looks like an alien. Oh my gosh!!!
