I need help to get the jacket on Regie. He is a heck of a fighter when he is resisting something. I only have 2 hands.

Cary, there is no reason for poor Regie to like the walking jacket as he has no positive links to it. The first several weeks of me putting the jacket on had her doing summersaults and cartwheels down the hallway. But, seeing Jammu go outside without her made her a whole lot more upset! Even though Rafiki LOVES going outside with me, she still puts up a fuss when it comes time to putting on that jacket although I think at this time it is more of a game. The minute Jammu is about to go outside, she calms down and allows it to be put on.
What can you do to give Regie positive associations? Can you have it near you when you give him serious cuddles or something? Or maybe put it sort of on Kilifi since he adores her so much?

Zeddie isn't a fan of putting the jacket on either, but when I jingle it she comes running and jumps up for it to be put on. If I even mention the 'candy store' she runs to the door. Her positive association is going out and having a blast. Jim is taking his cues from her. He is very nervous about going out but checks to her for reassurance

It is NOT that I am not fast enough, it is that it takes 2 hands to manipulate the jacket and at least 2 hands to hold him so he does not slip away or slash my hands. If I had 4 hands I could do it.
