The Cost of Breeding

I don't know what has happened to our society as a whole...many people told me I should euthanize my baby Cisco, who would not eat, just because he was 10 years old...of course, I did not listen, let my vet insert a feeding tube and it should come out soon because he is eating on his own again...

I love my cats and love breeding, although it can be difficult and very painful at times...the joy is in seeing the kittens born in your home, grow up to be such loving beauties and bringing joy to others ;)

Paige, I have been following Cisco closely ( :) and praying hard!) just because I really do know what it felt like to me when things got to be 'iffy' with a dearly beloved animal. I am so glad Cisco is doing so much better. I believe as society breaks down further, that 'this little SCC society', of good people, and others like it, of whatever designation, may be the only Real places to interact safely. IMHO.

Oh the weight gain is Great! The weight gain makes a cat FEEL good-they feel good , so they want to eat 'good' (well) then they feel good... and it becomes a cycle--I believe, anyway. What do think about it? It worked very well on Little Bandito, over and over again, until he was suddenly taken by something completely unexpected.

I agree...he seems to have done a complete turnaround and is acting more spry and alert than he has in months...he is even showing interest in going outside with the others ;)

I am sorry to hear about Little Bandito :(

Thank you--after this many years and this many rescues, adoptions( too many by me!) and loses, I have absolute faith they are all just waiting for mum, treats and games!
