Doolittle's "woman behind the man"
Hi All,
I'm new (thanks for allowing me to join!) and do not have a Savannah...yet... but have been researching and drooling over pics for months! Sorry about the avatar (that's our sweet Phoebe who passed 8 months ago- my memorial to her) I can't seem to get it upright! If anyone more techy than me can figure it out I'd surely be grateful for the advice!
Anyway, let's see... I'm Jaz, married to Bob, mom of 4 human children (youngest now 16) and 4 fur children (3 dogs, one horse). Grew up on a farm in lovely little Puyallup, WA. Been here in AZ about 10 years. Always had a huge love of animals (domestic and wild) and can't recall a time I wasn't surrounded by a "herd" of one kind or another. Hubby is also an enthusiastic "fur dad" to all our babies but has always had a special love and appreciation for cats. He actually chose Phoebe at the rescue- (loved her big ears and high energy) and she was always "his" girl despite my efforts to lure her closer to me (yep, I'm a little greedy like that ;-)
So, now we have our sweet puppies and are looking to find that special cat to make us complete again. We heard about the Savannah through a friend and once we started researching we were blown away! We still have a lot to learn but we're working on it and excited to be here. Hope to get to know everyone in the course of time and hope to contribute something positive as well!
