The Last Word - with Yeti

Yeti was clearly trying to protect you from a poorly engineered, structurally unsound storage unit. Yeti would not have kept toppling it over if he wasn't worried about it falling on you when he wasn't in the room. It's not his fault you kept moving it haver he had fixed it (ie safely and carefully lowered it to the floor so that it would not fall and hurt you).

What a shoddy excuse! Pathetic.
You have yet to show intentional malice on the part of the cats.
I see no malice a forethought here. I hear of no breaking or entering. All I have heard is of a minor reconfiguration of furniture, as Yeti allegedly reconfigured the furniture in a safer fashion.

My CLE today on trial ad states that the remark above must be delivered. Slowly. Deliberately. With extended pauses. And ample voice modulation.

So, I say to you, members of the jury, if we are in fact to consider the evidence in due course (pause. Breathe. Make eye contact with all.) we must first hear from Yeti (pause. Breathe. Lower voice) or his counsel. And we must consider that we are not a jury of his peers. But a jury of those pledged to serve our SV's. And as such, we must wait patiently, to hear from Yeti. Until such time, I move for a recess. And MORE PHOTOS of yeti.

Taking a cue from Nikki...
Ok people (breath, wheeze, cough), Tort deserves a little sympathy from you (make eye contact with icy stare). Adopt cadence of southern preacher: He suffered, I say he SUFFERED bodily haaaarm at the paws of his cats. Was inflicted with PAIN. And you (punctuate air with finger) are showing no sympathy for the man.

hahaha...I vote for yeti and Yuki as non-perpetrators of Tort's pain :roflmao: Tort should have left the unsound furniture on the floor the first time!

Okay, I must be dense because I am completely at a loss --- how does Yeti repetitively knocking down a storage unit cause you to have pain? If anyone was working strenuously it was Yeti (and Yuki to a certain degree). Plus, after how many recurrences you have absolutely NO pictures to show of it? Makes me wonder what really happened there...

On the advice of my representation, and being a non-drinker, I cannot take or drink the fifth (she may have emptied the bottle already).

I have a bad back.
The storage unit holds clean (pre-incident) clothes. Weight is limited to 10 lbs. (7 shirts, 1 pants, 2 ties, 1 towel)
The storage unit was atop a tall box.
I had taken my medication to aid with sleep.
Previously Yeti and Yuki had taken no interest in the storage unit. Paz still does not pay it any mind.
On the occasion of the incident Yeti, and later Yuki, decided to leap up onto the storage unit and force it to crash to the floor loudly, waking me from sleep.
In the interest of keeping the clothes clean and thinking the initial incident was unintentional, I restored the clothes to the unit and placed it back atop the box.
At first there was not an indication of pain through the grogginess.
The event repeated itself despite multiple time-outs, and by morning I was fatigued and in pain. (You may view the timeline, in color, in my previous statement(s).

At no time did I provoke this assault on my person.

I can identify the primary and secondary assailants:

Surely, they are innocent. LOOK at them. That's innocence right there with paws and whiskers.

The pictures don't help your cause !!! It just reinforces the fact that they are innocent !

PS: didn't you just admit you were 'under the influence' and all drugged thanks to those medications !!!!

(Standing slowly up, thumbs behind the suspenders, looking down my nose through eyeglasses..)
"Well, see here, Mr. Tort. You may not recall, but, I have a certain expertise in the area our Member Hina has put forth. And by your very description of the events, it is plain as day, that you were delirious during the events. And you may still be, as you have yet to apologize to your two lovely cats.
As the Witch has mentioned, there might be some, err, empathy due to you during your pain. However, it is troubling you have accused the innocent, and even by your own photographic evidence have you shown proof of such, that you continue to pursue the charges." (Shakes head, sits down slowly, and spits in the spitoon!)
