The only thing more expensive than feeding her... is buying her toys

Rafiki plays tug of war and destroys most of the wand toys out there. I buy my wands (and fur toys) from Hyendry. They are the only wands that Rafiki wont destroy within a half hour. I get the super solid one (often comes with a raccoon tail). For the feathered toys themselves, Da Bird are the favorite - something about the smell (stink) of the guinea hen feathers. But again, without the Hyendry wands, the toy would snap off the wand and be destroyed within 5 minutes of introductions.

I like some other wand toys than just the feathers on a string type... the Cat Catcher... http://www.amazon.com/Cat-Catcher-Teaser-Wand-Mouse/dp/B000LPOUNW is pretty hardy being a wire, and the more economical refill option is to purchase the little mousies as fishing lures (you can find online stores) and just cut the hook off them...they have the little loop at the end that attaches to the wand so you can renew it anytime the mousie gets chewed up :)

Lol !!! I must be one of the lucky ones....so far that is. What Baghira likes the most is your plain old thin rope lol. When he wants to play he´ll bring you one of his ropes :big grin: And waits for you to throw it so he can bring it back to you.

We have these too...we've taken off the end toy as what they really like chasing is the "snake" wriggling on the floor. And the rope used is very resistant to chewing so we've not had to put them away... Lila drags them around the house and up and down the stairs when looking for a human to play with her :)

Yep-- we hide toys and often, they still figure out where they are hidden.

As is though, seems like they tend to make their own toys every single day out of common household stuff. Heck, I've seen kittens play with Matchbox cars around here!

Kong has some interesting dog/kitten toys-- maybe try some of them out. Stuffing them with treats, etc.
