ya know John, I agree with Witchy. Elsa needs a brother. Forest would be great. He would not be sad with you and Elsa......

I really and truly wish I could, but in my state of Flux, he would not be happy right now, and my finances are too close right now to even think about it... (New Job You KNOW!, Going to have to move, and where I do feel that Elsa is going to handle the move, I do have some concerns on how she is going to handle the new work schedule and a totally new home... I do feel that she is going to work through it, but it will take her some time, and I hope that time is short.

Honestly, I have gotten the impression that Elsa is a one-critter cat and doesn't necessarily need a feline companion to keep her company... however, as you say with your new work schedule that may change...

John, She will be fine. She has Jake. He will help

Yeah.. You know me! After loosing Sylvester Last Year, and then almost loosing Elsa this year.... I guess I may be a little over protective... A couple of months ago she was walking around upstairs putting out this "Horrible Meow" like you have never heard... I ran to her aid to find out she was carrying on of her balls and Meowing with her mouth full.. I have never seen a cat carry something and meow at the same time... Quite funny...

I FULLY understand, John. When we fall in love with them, they become as important as a human child. And, my friend, you have a very unusual girl there. You just keep being her protector. :)

You guys all crack me up! Forest will find his great home eventually!

As for best kitten ever-- LOL-- I think it's far far too early to put labels on any babies :) But I am pretty pleased with Padma's litter.

Ya know Trish, We have followed Little Forest since his entry into this world, and I, for one, am so happy he is progressing so nicely. He is a cute little fella. :) I LOVE his sad eyes. ;)

Trish, He has one big item in common with Elsa... He over came the odds and did not let it hold him back... that tells me that they are both fighters and will be GREAT cats.... If they were not good fighters, they would either not be here today or be handicapped for the rest of their life... As you said, from day one he kept playing with the other kittens as if nothing was wrong.... If he had been like a lot of people, he would have said "I am handicapped, you got to help me".... and yes, I have had people to tell me that exact phrase.

When the Vet told me Elsa was not going to make it and recommend putting her down and her report read "Poor to Grave" and they recommend putting her down (of which I cannot do) it makes me wonder how many other pets listed as very bad could have made it if their owners had not listened to the vet...

Most certainly... Such fantastic progress... and in a very short period of time.
