It's too bad they are so expensive or i'd have a second one already! Just introduced him to the rest of the house last night, supervised, 2 walkthroughs in my arms, then let him roam. Poor guy loves the open space but my fake hardwood flooring is slippery so he runs down the lane in my town home then tries to take a corner and bails every time haha.
I guess now when I get a second one, do I bring him and the new kitten back into the room for the 1 week quarantine? Also I'm thinking of getting his sister, but i'm not supposed to neuter him till 6 months, they wouldn't try anything funny would they?

You don't need to get a Savannah as a second kitty (although I certainly understand why you would want to!), many other active breeds such as Highlanders (my other breed), Abyssinians, Bengals, etc. can provide plenty of entertainment for a Savannah.
I have no idea why you would need to wait until he is six months old to neuter him, you are risking him starting to spray, and once started it's harder to curb that behavior, even after being neutered. Were you given a reason for waiting so long? I typically neuter my boys as 12 weeks old, before they ever leave my home.
And yes, when you bring a new kitten into the home you will need to quarantine it for at least two weeks before introducing it to Muffin.

The breeder told me to wait, and I believe there's something in the contract about waiting but no later than 6 months. I also didnt want to send him through a traumatic experience right after he meets me haha!
You don't want to quarantine them together even if they know each other?
Also does your highlander have polydactyl? How many toes?

There's really no reason to wait... but I understand where you're coming from about wanting to make sure he's settled in before going through a traumatic experience. After losing my 1st kitten to FIP, I was overly paranoid with Shango. I waited about 10 weeks for him to settle in and show no health issues before I had him neutered at a little over 5 months old. Although after worrying so much, the neuter was uneventful and didn't even faze him. The most upsetting thing about it all for him was missing breakfast before going to the vet lol! Once he was done at the vet and got back home, he pigged out on his food and acted like nothing happened. I think it's more traumatic for us than it is for them.
Unless your contract states otherwise, I wouldn't wait until 6 months to get him neutered if he's adjusting to his new home well and is in good health condition.
