Two Bengals and a F2...soon

He looks big for his age! Any name yet? I am sure the time will fly by. Though its tempting to let him meet your other cats, its important to give him a chance to make a strong bond with you before he decides the cats to be his best friends instead. He is really cute :) Can't wait to see more pics and hear stories!

As to your original questions:
-no other cats, but I did introduce him to the ferret after 1 week.
-I've only ever walked Keljin three times, been a few months since he has outgrown his kitten harness and I haven't bothered with a new one yet :( that needs to change because I want to get out more!
-he eats blue buffalo wilderness kitten dry food, I want to start incorporating some raw soon.
-nothing beats his quirk of greeting me at the door. Keljin is the most loving affectionate and bonded animal I have ever had in my life, wouldn't trade any of it away - even all the trouble making. Its worth it for those purrs and headbutts whenever I come home.

Well the smell of a new kitten is making my Bengals hiss at each other :(. The kitty did pee in his carrier, and I stupidly did not get rid of it immediately. I think my male Bengal (Sage) has associated the smell somehow with my female Bengal (Terra).

I'm naming him Nitro. And the breeder indicated that at 8 weeks, he was a pound heavier (5 lbs IIRC) and two inches taller than his litter mates. I am expecting to go through a lot of food, and I'll probably reduce the canned he gets because it's roughly 4x the cost for the same nutritional content (based on Innova Evo canned vs. Earthborn Primitive Feline dry).

On the topic of walking cats, I found a better harness a few days ago that I wanted to try with Sage, but now he whines at my front door all the time :(.

Once the hissing stops you will know that they are beginning to thaw towards Nitro, but I would keep him quarantined for at least two weeks, even if they start begging to play with him...

Username change because it was too long for the site. Thanks admin/Paige!

Very rough measurements: 9" shoulder height, 11" chest to rump. And that's at not quite 11 weeks old. My Bengals are only like 10-11" shoulder and 16" chest to rump. No weight measurement for him (my scale won't sense him and I cannot hold him yet), but he's a stick - he probably weighs only 5-6 lbs. My Bengals feel fat now (and they are absolutely not - only 10-11 lbs).

I don't believe he's touching dry food at all - going to see if mixing dry and wet will get him to eat some. The great news for the day is that he let me pet him - and it doesn't take much at all for that purr of his to start. Every time I'm opening the bathroom door now I hear a deep purr.

Time to make my Bengals not feel neglected.

Anytime ;)

Sounds like things are really improving and Nitro is wanting attention - it's all good...
