Linda, were her nails cracked at all? Or maybe the pads sensitive? Jim hated his nails being done, even though he is super easy going but they cracked easily. Zeddie has great nails and just puts up a small fuss when/if I trim her nails (which really isn't often)

I did not notice any cracking. They were a bit longer than normal as it had been close to 3 weeks rather than the usual 2. Her claws tend to grow long, clear and thin (versus Jammu's claws - thick dark horns). The only other unusual thing was that I started with her back paws instead of her front. The way that she was sitting on me made the back paws more accessible. She normally tolerates the front better. I can normally do the nail trims solo but this time, Steve helped me with the last 2 claws. Hopefully it was a combination of us having been gone and her not having patience and not an indication of things to come.
