I was gonna try the SO temporally.

If you do decide to feed this, even temporarily, I’d get the canned version rather than the kibble. The kibble may help with the crystals, but it won’t help the underlying problem of not having enough fluids. Cats should get most of their needed moisture from their food.

Well I’m not sure what to do. I have tried so many wet foods for him and he snubs his nose at all of them. I had him locked in a room hoping he would eat. It’s been at least 36 hours since has really eaten. I’m lost. Please help

Have you tried different textures? My last cat would only eat canned if it was chunks in gravy, our current crew only likes pate - no chunks.

He does love freeze dried chicken. So he gets that. I am temporarily feeding him the SO and I bought that Pretty litter stuff and his PH is now normal. So I’m gonna be taking him to vet possibly next week or following( super busy at work) to get rechecked. I really appreciate all the suggestions. He still doesn’t like wet/raw food but does like a little water on his dry food. Believe me I will keep trying with him.

You can also add water to the freeze dried foods and nibs, maybe he’d like that better than canned. Our crew adores the Northwest Naturals freeze dried (not frozen - it sucks), as well as the Stella and Chewys.

Unfortunately the nibs don’t rehydrate at all. We use them as crunchy treats.
