I just had to rescheduled Schrodinger for his neutering appointment (again). The new place is telling me that I have to give him the rabies vaccine, if they do his surgery. Is the rabies vaccine safe for savannah?

I have given Rabies vaccines in the past, it is not required where I live in California, but when I've shown cats I've vaccinated just in case there is an accident at a show and the question arises...
