The eye drops were a steroid. I'd have to find the box. We always gave him treats after but he got wise to is and would run and hide, he knew. That's over now, the eye looks fantastic. Honestly as bad as it was he seemed to bounce back a couple seconds later. The vet wasn't sure what caused the eye issue but it was swollen. Reminds me of when Jengo gets a cold it seems to always go to his eye but he tends to bounce back very quickly. Jengo had a flu of some sort before Biz got here. I actually cancelled by a week because I was worried about Jengo sharing whatever it was. I assume Jengo picked it up at the vet but he gets a cold just about once a year. I imagine Biz picked up some lingering cold from his brother and couldn't fight it because he was already fighting tape worm and probably a giardia outbreak from the stress of moving. It is not at all surprising that Biz is getting a bit skittish from all the medications. Try to make it such a bad experience if you can by following the medication with a special treat such as freeze dried chicken, or whatever he loves most. Keep loving him and playing with him, he will forgive you once it's over. Can I ask what kind of eye drops you are giving four times a day?
I use Probios probiotics and have had fantastic results with it. I get the powder and just sprinkle it over their food as long as they are on antibiotics and for a few days afterwards. It doesn't seem to be unpleasant, at least I've never had a cat yet that has had a problem eating it.

I'm glad I waited to take him back. I wanted to give him a second without medication to see if his stool would start to form and it did. So now he goes back in a couple of weeks for a check up and another fecal test for both kitties. I think we are in the clear.
