What sounds do your Savannahs make?

Oh Zeddie does that too! Usually when there are dogs or she is sitting on her cat tree making sure I know it is hers
To funny about the cat tree! Nyah went through this funny stage where she was just bratty. She would make airplane ears at me, do this low whine at me and that stretched out neck thing they do. She did it one time as I walked by the cat tree, I spun around and told her I would sit in that cat tree if I wanted too, and I swear she never did this again!

LOL! I did that to Zeddie too! She swatted at me as I made fun of her puffy noises and I was like "this is MY cat tree!" and she never did it again

What is the chattering noise cats make when looking at birds? Rafiki's normal conversations sound more or less like short controlled versions of that. She also has a sort of whiney sound that she makes when I tell her to get down off the counters or stop biting her humans. I am pretty sure she is asking "why" or telling me "in a minute". She only meows when she is outside and has lost sight of Jammu.

I had one cat that made an odd chattering noise when she watched birds - it sounded more like a bird than a cat, there was no tone to it, more like a percussion instrument was being used. I've not heard any of my other Savannahs make that noise.

Mine plays hide and seek is that a typical sv too? I've never had a cat that more human like. Except I wish I had his legs of speed.

I think 'hide and seek' is an extension of the Savannah's prey and hunt instincts - I am guessing when you find his hiding place, he leaps out at you? Or is this a game where he only seeks you?

I play hide and seek with Zeddie all the time. Basically, she runs into a hiding spot and I chase her, and then she runs out and hides somewhere else and I find her. Or I will run into a room and she will come looking for me. When she finds me she ZOOMS away. Its hilarious. She also poofy tails when she finds me
