Did you say shadow is back to sleeping with you? She is probably very jealous of the kitten if not. We got a new kitten a bit ago and she came into our room and the cat(kitten EVE) that had been sleeping with us had to be moved for the quarantine period. She(Eve) was very jealous. When she first met Chloe she would hit her quite a bit but then she was ok but if i brought them to my room, she would hit and chase her. I washed all the 'stuff' in my room for as much of a neutral smell as I could get and then let them both back in and she seemed more content. Now she sleeps with us sometimes but sometimes she wants to go with the big girls. All the girls are getting along reasonably well now.... an occasional wack from the elders which is to be expected :)

I wanted to share with you the latest developments here ... All good news actually. A nice restfull time out in my daughters room seemed to be exactly what Shadow needed. Over all I think she was confined to her room for 4 days. We all made sure to visit her frequently, and she had her best friend (Misty my Wiemereiner) in there for frequent visits as well.

The boys were able to roam and play freely for the time Shadow was on her little vacation. Over all they were able to gain a sense of comfort and confidence around the house.

Shadow has been out and about for the last 48 hrs and there hasn't been one issue. Before, there were conflicts at least 5-6 a day.

Zeus is still a little nervous around her, but I think seeing Abu saunter by her and Percy (my male domestic) as if they weren't anything to be concerned with put a little spine in Zeus.

So for now, there has been peace, thank goodness, now all I have to worry bout is the boys tearing down the place around my ears !! =) Abu learned yesterday that shower curtains and rods, will not support a 10 lbs kitty for very long, and they make a very loud noise when they come crashing down. LOL he came running out the bathroom with his tail all foofed up was the funniest thing ever. ;)

Glad to hear peace is restored. Sounds like a little break from the young 'uns was just what Shadow needed :) If chaos does reign again, at least you know what works!

Sorry about the shower curtain, lol!
