Nice interview, no drama, just the facts from an eye witness. DEM & state vet did not handle the situation properly and I hope they turn it into a positive learning experience, get appropriate training, and I think some disciplinary action is also appropriate.

yep - Francine is the best - one of my most favorite persons...handled the situation really well

They should have had the appropriate training before strapping on a firearm. They should have understood intimidation, and when to use it. They should have realized they were around young children who were enjoying a pet show.
This is what I meant that crap like this sets me off. This was a plain stupid action. I will be very surprised if there is any disciplinary action.

We have a crappy economy, we have gun violoence and kids dying in schools and streets and these idiots and legislatures like to waste money by controling a peaceful enjoyable pet show! How about cracking down on dog fighting that goes on everyday in this country...
