Working Away from Home due to Fire!!!

Bad luck seems to be the universal constant>>> about 2 weeks ago, I got woken up from a nap, by someone banging on my door.... I was thinking.. "What kind of idiot would be banging on my door like that!" I answered the door and the frantic fellow said: "YOUR CAR IS ON FIRE... YOUR CAR IS ON FIRE..." and he had already called the fire department! Took them 14 minutes to arrive as they did not dispatch the closest station that was only a mile and a half away, but instead one from 14 miles away! Major damage to the carport and garage and mostly smoke damage to the house and me and Elsa are now living (temporarily) in a hotel while they rebuild our house! Things could have been much worse... Else was upset, but a fireman was able to catch her in the house and somehow got her into her carrier (I am not sure how, but somehow, he did not get bit or scratched, but she was all kinds of upset (as would be expected) ... Once we were united, she calmed down and for the time being while house repairs are being worked on, we are now living in a hotel! She does great in the room, but starts to get agitated when I take her out of the room... She has no issues with the cleaning staff when they come to clean, which I was quite surprised about that. When I take her out of the room, she gets ansi and wants to go back in... In the room, she is quite happy and her normal self!

The way it looks, we will be out of the house for about 3 Months... Atleast!
