Thank you guys. You feel like friends, and I needed to talk about it. This is just devastating. So unexpected and he was there in his recliner a week and a half before he was found.... Just alone. It makes me sooooo sad :'(
We used to talk on my way home from work and now I will never be able to do that again. :( I can't say how much it hurts. :( Feels like I will never be right again.
Oh and I know you guys couldn't know this, but Alice is my screenname and Alicia is my real name :)

Thank you :( my head hurts so bad! I may have to take something to help me sleep at this rate...
I really appreciate all the comments, thank you.... I am sort of at a loss for words right now. :( Didn't think I would be in this position at least for another 10-20 years.

My heart goes out to you Alicia, 61 is way too young. Did he have any illnesses that you are aware of? The only comfort I can offer you is that it sounds as though he went peacefully and quickly. It is always harder for those who are left behind to cope with the loss...

You are so right. He only had high blood pressure and hypoglycemia apparently, but was on medication... He had been taking it too. So it's a total mystery. The only reason he even had those was because he never exercised, didn't eat healthy, and had put on significant weight. If he had taken better care of himself he would have been very healthy. I guess we will never know what happened. :(
