Alicia, I would have sent this in a p.m. but your message box is full. I wrote this for my two oldest children when their father passed in 2007. I hope you can find a little comfort in it.
I'll Still Remember
When the window shades at last are drawn
and the lights no longer burning,
friends and family gather 'round
with heavy hearts; so full of yearning.
It's impossible to say goodbye
when there's so much left to do.
Although we're parted by space and time,
I'll still remember you.
Our time on earth is bittersweet;
no matter how long it may be...
Before you know it, all that's left
are the memories of you and me.
But memories will see me through
'til we meet on the other side.
Together we will always be...
deep in my heart's where you abide.

You're welcome, Alicia. I know your world has come to a screeching halt and words are cheap, but please don't give up. I'm a firm believer in the power of God. It may seem as if you can't find Him right now, but He is waiting with arms that are longing to comfort you. In your weakest, He is strongest. Lean on His strength. Rest assured that your father is with Him in Paradise.

Sorry to hear about your father passing, Alicia. Hope you will find some comfort during your time of loss. Continue to focus on the good and fond memories of your loved one. I wish it was peaceful..... The picture his former landlord is painting is pretty gruesome. I don't know what's wrong with her or why she would tell his DAUGHTER those things!! Omg!!! And she is mad cause her property management company will be out $3000 to clean the place! Really?! I am so sorry my Dad died and it was a mess for you, wtf is wrong with her?? :'(
What a nasty, nasty person. She keeps bugging me to find out if he had any life insurance so she can get reimbursed. I'm pretty sure he died with $86 to his name.
