Ugh yes, I hate it when they wash their toys...especially the catnip filled ones that then mean I have to take apart the water fountain to scrub as the water is all discolored and nasty... if they do that multiple times a day it gets very old fast :-(

That is what made me stop buying the brightly colored fur mice.. They get wet and dye the water. eek

Toys in the food dish or water bowl are ok, toys in the toilet or at the bottom of the in ground pool are not ok. It is especially difficult to get them out of the pool when it is too cold to swim. Sue

Are you kidding me? Too cold to swim? That's what, 80F for you. Try my pool in early June. More like 65F.
Back to topic, my F3 males park their toys in the food bowl daily. I heard a theory that they feel the food bowl is a safe place, and they can find it consistently there.
On the other hand, maybe they are feeding their pet toy.
I tell ya, these Savannahs constantly do unusual things.
