Is it normal for a SV F2 to be running and hyperventilating like a puppy or is that a bad :-(

Pretty normal for a Savannah as they know no bounds. If it occurs after just mild activity you might want to have him checked out by a vet but are known to play and play and play until they finally realize that they have to catch their breath...

Ugh this happens with Izabelle!! She doesn't understand she has limits and will play until she can't hardly breathe! Scared me to death the first time it happened!!
Try not to worry, it happens :) scary though. Unless as Patti said, it's after mild activity...

My siamese was eating the flowers and Romeo plays in the flower vase. :)

I no longer have fresh cut flowers in the house.
The boys will eat them.
The only thing they will leave alone is orchids. I have several of them now ;)

Oh how I miss having fresh flowers in the house!. There could be a lucrative business opportunity for someone who could manufacture and distribute savannah-proof everything -- furniture, knickknacks, toys, dishes….

the reverse could also be true, that there's a business opportunity to show how SVs are great with helping you learn to live as a minimalist as they help you purge your belongings :D
