You know you have a Savannah Cat when...

. . . when you have to tuck the drawstrings in your PJ pants in or you are going to get pounced on.
ALL THE TIME.

And then she figured out exactly WHICH of my pants even HAVE drawstrings, and regularly pounces anyway to dig them out.

Hoodie strings, too.

And my active-duty husband's bootstrings.

...when you walk into the dark kitchen in the middle of the night with the lights out and step into a puddle of water and soggy toys because the cats were playing in the water dish - yuck!

When you walk in the bathroom and it looks like a spitball fight with a football team had taken place. Nyah dunked the tissue paper they have been playing with since the holidays in the toilet and then flung it around the room. There are paper pieces on the floor, walls and ceiling. I guess I should be grateful she stayed in the bathroom! She was quite proud of her "art".

She probably expected you to take a picture, blow it up, and frame it

You leave your toilet seats up??!! When you ask for trouble, you're likely to get it.

My breeder's cats TP'd the entire house with wet toilet paper. Apparently when they ran out of paper in the first bathroom, they continued to the next. He walked in, gazed upon soggy TP hanging from the ceiling and stuck to the walls!

I know, right? I try to put them down, but with a 15 year old and her gaggle of friends, and my in the throes of potty training 2.5 year old, not to mention my husband, it seems to be a losing battle for me!

The potty training child would complicate things... for the rest the rule would be the same that went for my husband and his friends: if you leave up the toilet lid, you clean up the resultant mess! LOL! After the first time one of his friends did that and I followed through on that rule...they magically remembered to do it from thence on ;-)
