Nice images.. I like the blur effect... If you wanted it more still action, you could raise your ASA/ISO setting on your camera.

Good news! I'm back safe and the cats are doing better together!

I got back home late last night...well, really very early today. Carolyn reported that, while Oni was still hissing at Ziggy, he was reacting less. Also, this morning and tonight they ate together without glass between.

I decided to let all three explore the house. Oni and Ziggy have hissed and growled a couple of times, but it's always been when they surprise each other. And a couple of times Oni has quickly started being silly and obviously wanting to play.

So I'm going to let all of them be together as long as Carolyn or I am around, which will be much of the time. I think they can work it out from here without risk of injury.

Thanks for the safe driving wishes. No incidents on the road, just very hard driving--the 20' trailer became quite unruly in the winds out west--we were often only able to go 50-55 mph, what with the trailer sway from gusts and trucks. And that's even with an anti-sway hitch and features in the truck to detect sway and automatically apply trailer and truck brakes. So it took 4 1/2 days of hard driving. And they're in their new home with their two dogs and I'm home with my three cats--together at last!

That was a quick trip... Glad you are back safe. I know how hard those trips can be.. Set back and relax.. You deserve it after a trip like that.

Welcome home Chris! I'm so very happy that you made the trip without incident. And also delighted at the good news in the evolving relationship of your cats. These past 2 days, my 3 adults have started sorting out their relationship with the kitten so we are in similar situations. It's fascinating to observe their verbal and nonverbal communication and to watch relationships evolve.

My heart continues to be full of joy for Ziggy and his new lease on life and I hope you don't tire of me saying how much I respect you and Carolyn for taking a chance on Ziggy.
