Yesterday i noticed i have again a nest of 4 stray kittens in my garden.

I also had it 2 years ago.
Back then it was in the cat proof garden where no cats can get out. (only in)
This time it's in the chicken area.
I also found a nest in my neighbours garden with 2 kittens.
But they seem to have moved cause they weren't there today.

2 years ago there were also 4 kittens, i kept 2 and adopted 2 and got the mother sterilized.
Right now i don't know i should take them under my care or not.
This time i don't have an emty room to keep them and the mom,
If i had i would have no clue how to get them all there.

Anyway there are already crawling around, dunno how old they are.
From when i should put some kitten wet food available ?

I really should take care of this stray cat problem, i'm already feeding around 10 stray cats, that makes it 16 now.
Dunno how much it can get cause they all need there territory

Last year, I had something like this, too. A stray mom cat decided to have her litter in my backyard! Two kittens total. I made them a cardboard box shelter and an old blanket, left her some food and water over several weeks. But basically, she just raised them there for 3 weeks or so. Then one day she took both of them in her mouth and jumped over my fence and it was off to the new world... dj

we don't have rescue groups in our town.

Most towns have a policy to sterilize them all and put them back.
But our town didn't want to make any budget for that.
I just send an email to the majors office
There have been elections few weeks ago so maybe the policy is changed now.
If they still don't want to help i will try to contact some groups from other towns.
But i don't think they want to spend budget if it ain't their towns problem.

Yes, in 2014 every town need to have a policy for stray cats.

So all i can do is wait a year.
It's pretty stupid from the town if they don't want to gave money to it yet.
Next year their will be a few 100 cats more than this year....
The earlier they start the cheaper it is.

Yes it is.

But i'm glad the goverment made a law for every town to start with it next year.
Else it might never happen.

Also people aren't allowed to have not-neutered cats from next year.
Only breeders.
