All right who gave Zeus a triple espresso right before bed?

I agree with Brigitte on that one....our cats are now very respectful of our sleeping times...my fiance during the night, and mine during the morning to mid afternoon. It takes a bit of work, but these cats are smart and will learn to behave when you are trying to sleep ;)

I just adopted your term for it. Very apt, tyvm =}
lol No problem. When I met my best friend's dogs for the first time they went crazy & she said, "Oh ignore them, they get the zoomies sometimes" & I was like "OMG THATS WHAT WE CALL THEM!" lol :roflmao:

I guess I'm lucky. Our 3 hop on the bed every night for bedtime treats and leave. During the night, they come to visit. If we wake up and pet them, they may lay down, then again they may walk on us and leave. Sue

What I do to train the kittens that human sleeptime is "important"... when they are too rambunctious at 4am, I get up and shut them out of the bedroom. Yes they cry and scratch at the door and make a ruckus, but I refuse to give in. They learn that playing on the bed and waking mommy gets them banished. Even if they do this an hour before I am getting up anyway, I will do this. Even though I won't sleep for that hour, I lay in bed listening to them, LOL! They DO learn, you have to be firm... and some are more persistent than others...
uh oh...I been a badddd mommy...lol, I think its not so much the cat I hate listening to as much as it is the husband..haha! Sometimes I will ignore, but if it sounds like the door is about to come off the hinges then I get up ;) I will try the tough love on both of THEM! Thanks Brigitte!

LOL, I am such a restless sleeper, I think I wake up the kitties more than they wake up me. Of course on my days off, if I sleep in too late they will be sure to let me know it's time to get up :uh oh:

Permit me to brag a bit. No, brag a whole bunch. Mine have gone to bed at my bedtime since they were kittens. And if I stay up late, they go to bed without me:) No matter how hard they may be playing at the time, at 10 p.m. they drop what they're doing and march off to bed. Neener neener neener:big grin:
Well la di freakin da! lol! :roflmao: Show off!
