Very cute. Size is nothing unless you plan on entering her in kitty Sumo wrestling tournaments! Sounds like her heart is big enough. This is how my Venus is and I wouldn't have her any other way.

My first Savannah, Kilifi was about 9 montsh old when she came hiome to me. I have NEVER regretted. She is now 3 and is 10 lbs and a reasonable size. NO giant, but a HUGE personality. And a lover. You will not be unhappy I am sure.

HUGE personality
This is the most important large size. Fortunately, Cary, nor I, have a lock on this. It's in the DNA of these cats. We all get a big kitty. It's not measured in pounds or inches. Every owned human on this forum knows this within a few days!;)

in "your" opinions how will a new cat change the dynamics with us and lila (our current cat)? we are really enjoying the interaction and bond we have with lila. what do you anticipate the changes we may see? i am talking more about after proper quarantine and introduction?

Lila is so friendly and lovable. she sleeps with us? plays. talks. she is super friendly and out going. i would hate to drastically change these positive traits. am i over concerned? should i be concerned at all?

thx

Lila may be a little jealous at first. Be sure to spend some extra time playing with her and cuddling her. Even if the two cats become best friends, there will be occasional squabbles. And the dynamic will change again as the new cat approaches maturity. There may be some jostling as they decide who will be top cat in the hierarchy. If Lila is submissive and the new cat isn't, there likely wouldn't be a problem. If both cats have dominant personalities, there may be issues. If both are submissive, no worries.

I agree with what Deborah has said. Regarding your relationship with the cats - you may find in the long run that Lila enjoys spending time with the other cat rather than you at times, but if you have established a strong bond with both of them, you will remain their number one go-to BFF
