We have to lock ours as well. Otherwise Duma not only activates it and makes a mess, there is a rubber piece in there that he has destroyed while playing with it.

Yes, there's a child proof button you hold down for 5 seconds to disable the dispenser. Unfortunately it doesn't lock on its own and Dino is quick to find out if you didn't.

That boy loves his ice cubes, and that's all I need to do to find him is put ice in a glass. Of course you can't have ice in a glass anymore, as Dino is relentless about trying to fish them out. Crazy eyes and singularly focused on ice cubes when they are around, silly boy.

In our house it is one ice cube for the water fountain, one for the human. One into Jarvis' mouth, second for the human.

Hmm, my Amara Twins, love playing with the cubes too. Will put a quart or two of ice in their fountain, and they just love to chase them around.

Had to laugh, Teri was just saying, hey the kids aren't playing in the fountain like they first did. Said, oh yeah, watch this, topped off the fountain, and it was, splish splash I was takin a bath, or something like that.
