OK. Just to prove I am not BSing y'all. Here are 2 videos of Azidi on the wheel. They are consecutive videos. My Wireless camera will only record 1 min per file. Since this was 2 min. there are 2 files.

Are you surprised she took to it so easily and that she uses it at all? I think Atticus would use one but it would have to be a 61" diameter wheel -- expensive and I don't know where I'd put it. I'm still considering a treadmill.

Actually Deb, I thought she would eventually take to it. I am surprised it was this quick and easy. I did not really have to coax her onto it. She just hopped on that first night. I guess she has been using it when I am not in the room. I heard her on it when I was on napping with Kilifi this afternoon.
I KNOW Atticus would love one, but you are right, you would need a bfg one. A treadmill might be a better choice for him...and would be something you could use too...IF you want. But only drawback would be you would have to monitor it to turn it on and off.

I'm looking at these http://www.gopetusa.com/treadmill-specs.html He's so long, I'd have to get one with a 51" running area, also expensive. And I would be in deep trouble and probably homeless if I spent the money and he didn't use it.

Ok. I have caught Azidi on the wheel twice since I posted the videos. She just trots along staring off into space... "in the zone".

Ok Azidi seems to be making a nightly ritual of getting on the wheel. She is on every night around 7 pm. She will walk abut 5 min, get off for a couple of min, get back on for about 5 min, get off ..get on.. about 5 or 6 times. Watching the number of revs of the wheel and timing it, I calculated she is trotting about 3 mph. Not fast, but not slow either. She makes me so proud!
