I neglected to say that last night I left her out for another 30 min and MOST of the time she spent investigating MY bedroom. When I went in later she ran to her room and hopped up on the bed as if to say, " That's cool dad. I'm done." I praised her and petted her and told her how brave she was to investigate, and she strutted around real proudly. I am going to repeat the process tonight. I am thinking like what Nikki said, that Regie is showing her that the house is NOT a threat to her. What ever it is, I am just thrilled at her new bravery.

Our jumpy Jarvis is much better since Mickey arrived. Mickey has helped Jarvis realize the basement, garage and back yard are interesting and I'm convinced that seeing Mickey snuggling as well as D made him decide to give it a chance- and discover he likes it :)
I slept with Jarvis in my arms last night :) would never have thought that possible when we started down this path :)

OK Tonight Azidi was once again brave. She explored my bedroom for about 35 min. And looked over the living room for about 5 min. I am so damned proud of her!!!!!

Such good news Cary! Miss Azidi seems to be deciding that she wants to be part of the larger universe. Good work -- you need to take some credit for your months of patient love and care that make her feel secure enough to try exploring.

Wonderful to hear that Azidi is continuing to explore the house - I think she might be telling you that she wants to sleep with you at night!
