@Patti, I am trying to get her to come in WITH me into the bedroom. She is resistant. ( like it is with me and all girls.....) She will come in when I am not in there. But is hesitant when I am in there. Acts interested though.

@WitchyWoman Thank you, but it is all her. She is finally becoming braver. Yeah, maybe I am patient, but aren't we somewhat patient with our human kids too....most of us?

Whatever...I am proud of her. She is getting more secure and braver.

I guess she just needs time to explore by herself and decide your room is okay. The good thing is, both Kiki's and Regie's scent is all over the room, so she can't escape their presence.

YES they are everywhere. And MY scent is everywhere too. So she will see it is not just the cats but dad too.
And the bedroom has a lot of nooks and cranneys to explore. SO it will take her some time to completely check, it out.

OK. I decided to try again with Zidi. I sequestered Kiki and Regie at 3:50 and let Zidi out of her room. For the last half hour she has been in MY bedroom in the window chasing a fly and investigating the room. I went in and sat on the bed and she let me. she has a new view out the bedroom window, new smells and things to investigate. She is very busy. I will let her stay out for as long as she wants....within reason.

Wow. Now she is in the living room. investigating. Cool!!!

She evidently had enough. She headed back into her room after half a dozen runs between the living room and my bedroom. We talked a lot while she was out. She let me in both rooms while she was in them. AND, she led me back to HER room when she was ready to call it for the night. SO wonderful!! Happy me.

Any idea when you'll let her and Regie out together? You should do it before he gets much bigger, yes?

I will... but I do want her to feel more secure in her new digs. I keep taking him in, putting him in the cage, and letting her smell him in her room.

How does she do with that? I'm just so darn curious about what their relationship will be I can hardly stand the suspense.
