Just so folks know. I AM trying to catch the kids playing in a video. But the little sneaks will not cooperate. They do most of their playing early in the AM and late at night. I am either sleeping or just woke up...well almost woke up

Regie continues to grow. 10 lbs 2 tonight and Kiki is 10 lbs 4 tonight. He will soon pass her in weight. Already has in length and height. He is skinny and she is filled out. He is too active to put on weight. Runs everywhere.
She comes to dad for protection. She will sit at my feet and hide from him when he is going "crazyboy".

Regie has the occasional attempt at eating my hair, but he is listening pretty well. He does like his daddy tho. Will purr like a motorboat.

But I am workin on vids so please, cut me some slack here. :)

We're patient Cary. In the meantime, how about an Azidi update? Any more progress with her integrating with the rest of the household?

OK Yeah I guess I have been forgetful in updating on Azidi. OK. She is becoming very at ease with me ... She talks up a storm when I go in and demands to play. She also loves to head butt and roll over on her back so I can rub her tummy. She is getting a LITTLE more comfy with me touching her front feet....Especially while we are playing. Still not comfy with me holding her. And if I do anything that seems to her to be holding her head, she will react quite strongly. (Probably from being medicated as a little girl.)
She has explored the whole house now. And will usually come out for a while whenever I open her door. The kids are in their room of course. She does not seem to want to stay out in the "outer house" for long though. She is back in her room, ususally in about 30 min. And she then has no desire to come out any more.
She still does NOT like the raw food. In fact, She has not been eating wet food at all. No problem with the dry. So she has a big thing of water, which she drinks from often, so water is not a problem.
The kids want to get to her, and she will look through the door grille, but as soon as I start to open the door with the kids outside, she runs to her closet hidey hole. I take this to mean she does not want to meet them. And that is what she tells Andrea. "I like to be left alone."
So I DO believe she is still opening up more, and possibly will some day allow the kids in, but if not, no problem. She seems happy and if she is, THAT is what is important.

Well I guess now that Kilifi and Regie have each other it's not so important that Azidi doesn't want to have anything to do with them, but it would be nice if everyone could accept each other eventually. Have you ever thought about putting a screen door across that room so that she can see out and they can see in? It might help promote acceptance...

It is funny. One day when I come home from work, it will be Regie waiting on the counter to greet me and give me kisses and washes. While Kilifi walks out about 3 min later yawning and stretching.
The next day it will be Kilifi doing the greeting and Regie coming out later. Almost like they say.." Your turn Kiki"
"No it is your turn Regie" Whatever is going on, I am greeted and loved and it makes my day!

Well. I got some goat's milk for the kids. Kilifi will lap it up like it is ambrosia. Regie and Azidi turn their noses up at it. Different stokes...

Kilifi is so smart. She and Regie were sitting and looking out the back door, and I walked in just to see what they were looking at. Kilifi must have thought I was going to close the door, because she shooed Regie away and stood up and started pushing the door closed. I told her She did NOt have to close the door and she looked at me and I swear she grinned and opened the door back up and sat down in front of it. Regie ran off. Guess he thought she was just a ditzy girl.
