Yeah, pemphigus is basicaly the immune system that is attacking itself... I have a dedicated nurse and specialist taking care of her. I'm so lucky I found them for Zelda, I was getting desperate and was feeling so sad for her because she is the sweetest cat ever and she is so georgous.

Well, it's very weird that he came around all of a sudden... maybe he reads this forum.

Glad he is coming around... There is a community of Savannah People and we all talk... gets around... I think that he knows he will end up getting the short end of the stick. Many people around here are very sick... You can tell them apart from the rest of us... those are the ones who have 2, 3 or more running around all at the same time... I am not yet one of the sick ones, as one is enough so far, but I may get the illness in the future as it is very contagious around here...

Keep us posted.. He changed his tune once... Hopefully he will not change it again...

As for suing him, further research has showed that he does not appear to be incorporated, meaning that if he closes down the business, you can still sue him... I hope it does not come to that. Good luck.

Although I agree that under most contracts (including mine) a replacement would only be given after submission of a specialist's report, the fact that you had already come to an agreement AND had a new signed contract, that is somewhat irrelevant. There is a contract promising you a cat and hence you should get it.

As Paige suggests, your TICA regional director may be able to do something given that there IS a contract, so many times they are contacted and there is no contract and they are unable to get involved. I'm not sure what power TICA has to force him to do anything though, I think the worst that could happen is that they would ban him and he wouldn't be able to register cats anymore (if he does). You might need to take it up with small claims court, which I am sure is not going to be fun from another country :-(

So I hope that he does read the forum or listen to those advising him to make good on his contract and your situation is resolved very soon!

Well first of all, welcome to the forum, we are very glad you found us! I'm sorry you had to start your breeding program with such issues however. I hope that Paul will get his act together and send you a replacement as he has already promised, but if not, I do agree with the others that filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filing in small claims court is about your only recourse.
