So after much discussion we decided to adopt the kitten. We went up to the shelter this afternoon and played with him some more while we finished up the paperwork. He goes to the vet in the morning and we can pick him up from there late afternoon.
So now on with the name ideas. Since he is black and Halloween is around the corner we thought it might be fitting. Of course Kael (from Paige's poll) still sounds good too. Any ideas for Halloween themed would be great. Hubby said Shadow and I like Salem. But would love to hear others ideas.
Shadow has become a very common name for mel cats. I had one named Spirit. Salem sounds good.

Well he's home and getting used to his new room for the next 2 weeks. Walked right out of the carrier and started checking it out. I sat on the floor to watch him and he came over and walked up me and laid on my chest and started purring. 
Still no name yet, but I'm sure we will figure it out soon enough.

Well we decided on the name Shadow. Or I should say hubby decided. I caved since I usually get my way on everything else. But I have a feeling he'll be following us around all over when he gets sprung from his room. 
As is as soon as I go into the room he's at my feet waiting for me to sit down so he can climb up and snuggle under my chin. It's his favorite spot. And his motor goes non stop until he's asleep.
As for pictures....he never stops moving unless he's on my chest and I am that kind of person that hates photos of myself.
So I only have one that semi came out from all the blurry ones.
It does sorta show the smidge of white on his chest. Thought the blue bedding would be good against the black of his coat, but good ole iphone makes him look brown.
So looking ahead and was wondering when the time comes to start intros, should I do one cat at a time and if so a certain one first? So far Triton the SV shows most interest. He digs at the door wanting in. Bailey our female Bengal hisses as she goes by the door if he's near it. And I have seen no reaction at all from Chase our male Bengal. Any insight would be great. Face to face introductions after 2-wk quarantine. A few days before end of quarantine, put up some baby gates so they can see each other. Watch to see which of the resident cats has the calmest interaction with the kitten and let that one into the room first. The other two will likely be on hand to watch what's happening. If the first cat and kitten are doing ok, let in another cat, if that goes ok, let in the third. If any of the resident cats or the kitten show anxiety, remove the resident cats. Meeting 3 cats at once may be a bit overwhelming depending on the resident cats' reactions. You can introduce each cat individually over the course of a few days. In my experience, the calmest resident cat will set the example for the others to follow.

Thanks! Been awhile since we introduced Triton to the other two. Funny how things we stress or worry over get forgotten so easily. And totally doing the 2 week quarantine.
Just my first time having four cats. My family can't believe it. Four dogs they wouldn't bat an eyelash, but then again I was always a dog person prior to my husband.

Well the quarantine ends tomorrow and boy has it been hard. This kid is rearing to get out of his room. We put up a plain wood screen door instead of baby gates. Much easier to open/close and keep him in the room and others out. So far no hisses. A few meows at each other and Triton rubbing up on the screen.
Of course we did run into a bit of an issue. His name. After a few days even hubby didn't like the name Shadow for him. So sadly even 2 weeks later we still don't have a name for the little guy. Pretty much trying to think of anything at the moment. Latest one is Angus. Poor guy, I usually call him monkey butt. Hope he doesn't get used to it.
Will update more as we do intros.
