Lori McMann sells them (who also has the the cat rescues and HHPs). Unfortunately my laptop is just a smidge too big to fit in that pocket, but a smaller one definitely would work.

I do realize that Savannahs and Ragdolls are worlds apart, but Dante has logged quite a bit of mileage in this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003LSU20Q/ref=oh_o04_s00_i00_details It's not super high quality construction, but on the other hand it has some cool features, like wheels that come off (although I haven't had to take them off yet, almost did for VirginAmerica but was able to get it under the seat), and it's got these zippers that allow you to stick your hand in and pet your baby without him/her getting out.

I have not had the opportunity to travel via plane after my first (and only) experience. I would still use the Pet Gear I-Go 2 again, however....
I think any airline approved carrier will work - 7lbs is still pretty small. I personally like ones that have wheels because I am usually hauling cats that are heavier than that, but other than that I think it's pretty much your personal preference. Stormi just posted a link to one she used to transport her new kitty which looks pretty nice and had a fold out for extra room when waiting before or between flights.

I don't think a cat could stand up under the seat of an airplane, even without a carrier! I think that requirement is for cargo... it's more that the carrier fits properly under the seat that they are concerned with!

Ohh it´s made really well. I love it . I don´t have a F-1-4 so not sure how they are in a carrier, but Baghira never even tries to get out of it. He just don´t like car rides so he talks the whole time trying to get me to let him out. My wife and I normally take him together and the one who isn´t driving opens the small hole and puts our hand inside and that normally does the trick.
