Cat has patch of hair missing

Can you taker that get up off of him and get away from the chicken for a short time? If it is stress, the spot may get worse because I'm sure he is super stressed by being dressed up ;)

Does Dr Pla have any suggestions?

I would love to take that off of him, but I'm worried he'll pull out the staples. He pulled out two of this 3 stitches when I wasn't looking. I took him to the vet right away to get it fixed. Dr. Pla's best bet now is that he's just excessively scratching that area.

How much bigger is the patch now? I ask because what can happen with ringworm is that you see a patch, but the fungus has also infected much of the hair shafts around that hairless patch of skin. So you treat the ringworm but that hair has died anyway and drops out... so it is possible that this might be attributed to that? How long ago did he break with the ringworm? And has he been tested twice two weeks apart to confirm the ringworm is gone?

He was tested again for ringworm about a month ago. The cultures came back negative for ringworm. He has not been tested again since then. He had it pretty bad, he had multiple spots where he was missing hair, but they all grew back.

This particular spot never looked quite like the ringworm spots. It was about the size of quarter by the time he had his biopsy done.
