Keeba is too much of a moms boy to learn anything LOL! He just wants me to sit so he can sit in my lap. But my deaf cat fetches and sits.

It kinda happened by accident. Shelby was running back and forth and jumping around having one of those Kitten too much energy spaz attacks and he stopped and looked up at me. I just patted my chest and he jumped up and I caught him. I couldn't believe it and gave him a ton of praise, kisses and quickly gave him a Greenie (his favorite treats). I put him down and figured I better strike while the iron is hot and patted my chest again and he just looked at me. I picked him up and let him smell another Greenie so he'd want it. I put it in my pocket, pat my chest again like in the video and he did it again! I did it a couple more times and he kept doing it. I did it the next day and whenever I'd get home to keep reassuring him throughout the weekend. Now he's got it wired! I'm so happy about it lol

That's awesome, I really want to teach Shelby how to fetch and sit also! One trick at a time I suppose lol

Sitting is easy...fetching - seems like some of them will fetch and others will not...Zuri has been fetching since she was a kitten...Taj just was not interested in fetching.

I got Tiger to jump on my shoulder and lay down. I wish I didnt now he is so big it knocks me over when he does.
