Chongo the traitor

Chongo's caretakers informed me of him further settling into his comfort zone. Chasing da bird with elegant leaps, twisting and contorting in mid air. As usual, he became frenzied, no longer caring about how or where he landed. What was once grace and elegance similar to Michael Jordan in flight had became akin to a wrecking ball linebacker who just had their ancestry questioned.

Alarmed by the frenzied Chongo, da bird went away with his caretakers heart beating a little faster. She noted that she was concerned he would hurt himself to which I responded "welcome to my life". He then grabbed his kickeroo and started darting through their home. Generally something he likes to play fetch with but he would drop it just outside their reach and growl when they made an attempt to grab it. Then off on another tear ending with a proud gallop and head held high with the kickeroo to begin the process again, wash, rinse , spin , repeat.

Later in the evening he finally relented to playing fetch, having assured all involved that fun and games were strictly going to be on his terms. More photos and videos sent our way and forever grateful that we have such fantastic caretakers watching our crazed boy.

Oh yeah, for sure!

Trish just said the best part of vacation is being able to wiggle your toes in bed without fear.
