Thanks Trish...so far he is not eating much on his own :( ...so pain meds for now and hoping his triad of issues will resolve over the next few weeks, so he can eat on his own...

It can be really rough- I think a cat not eating is one of the toughest issues you can have with an adult. They really are not like dogs- it's not easy to trick an unhappy kitty (or one not feeling well) into eating and you REALLY don't have the leniency to say, "Oh well!" with cats (healthy or sick). **HUGS**

Thanks Trish! it is truly heartbreaking to see him this way, but my vet has assured me that his prognosis is good if we can just get him through the few weeks. he is on seven medications, but takes them like a champ...however, he hates to be syringe fed and a feeding tube may be in his future for the short term, unless he can eat enough on his own :(

He now follows me wherever I go and has to lie right next to me no matter where I am. He was NEVER like this before...I often wonder what he is trying to tell me...

He did perk up a bit today and sat on the shelf to look out the window, so...fingers crossed...
